BRJ received the CMAA Project Achievement Award for a new Solar Farm
BRJ received the Construction Management Association of America of Southern California Chapter (CMAA-SC) 2013 Project Achievement Award for Sustainability - Less than $10 Million for the 1.3mW Concentrator Photovoltaic System (CPV) located at Crafton Hills College, Yucaipa, California.
This CPV system is designed to produce 90-95% of the campus’ electrical energy needs, saving approximately $500,000 - 800,000 a year for the college. The project is the largest CPV plant in California. Budgeted at $7.4 million dollars, the project will pay for itself in less than eight years.
