Child Development Center
Building future progress
It is a cliché to say, “The children are the future” but at Compton Community College the Child Development program is an important part of the college’s educational curriculum. Maybe the most important as it became obvious that extended facilities were quickly needed to accommodate the rapid growth of the program. Working through programming issues during design, BRJ put an emphasis on the importance of the end-users and end-user’s subject. It was not lost on BRJ that by planning for students that strive to develop children, we were in essence building future progress.

An expansion of the existing Center. It supports increases to both the care of infants and pre-school children, as well as the educational program that trains professionals in Child Development.
